Hello there, First of all I want to welcome you to FantastiX As many boards have rules I too will have them. Please read and follow these rules. No multiple threads on the same subjectPlease use the search button first if you're not sure if a certain thread has been made. No Double PostingIf you need to change your post, edit it. Do not double post. No spammingTry to post as complete as you can. There's no need to just post "ok", "lol" or "yeah whatever" just to get your post count up and it will be seen as spam. No swearing or putting other members downDo not swear or put any member down. This is a board where people of many ages come to to have fun and they don't need to see any swearing what so ever. Also don't argue or fight with other members. If you see someone behave badly don't be hesitant to contact the staff. The staff is here to take care of that. No use of capitals or excessive charactersTry not to use excessive capitals or characters. It makes a post very hard to read that way. Just two or three ! is enough to make your point. If you post it like this !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it will be unacceptable and will be cut down by the staff. Doing it like this will stretch the board and is really unnecessary. Smiting and karma. It is against the rules for members to smite others for no reason. If you feel you wish to smite, please make sure you have a valid reason and they know this. If the karma system is abused, it will be removed. Signatures and AvatarsAvatars must be 100 X 100 or less and banners cannot be more than 500 X 150 so as not to stretch the forum. If any member fails to go by these rules they will receive a warning. After that if this member continues to do so they will receive a temporarily ban. Go any further than this will result in a permanent ban. Please take a look at the FAQS here fantastix.proboards92.com/index.cgi?board=techsupport&action=display&thread=1150288288&page=1

1. Why can't we swear when words like d-mn get censored out anyway? 2. We exalt for no reason, why can't we smite the same?
Erm yeah.. just wondered! [Please.Don't.Ban.Me!] xx

Well, to smite (aka curse) means to take karma away, which is upsetting and mean, so you shouldnt do it without telling them why. Of course i cant stop you but it would be nice because people get confused and paranoid, eventually leading to having to remove karma altogether.
And swearing isnt really a nice thing to do for a forum for all ages. And ive removed a lot of the censors.

OK i know this a double post, but this doesnt count because this is important. I have updated the forum rules (because i copied them from another site lol) and there are now new rules including the rule about only 4 lines of text with a banner. Please read the new rules and take the link to the FAQ page ;D ;D ;D hmm you have 7 lines in your sig hahaha im gettin rid of that rule, sorry folks

I dont think the spamming rule should exist, no offence. Coz there's nothing wrong with 3 word posts.. or even posts counting up to 1000 which are 1 word. But i get the whole karma thing.. and i guess censorship is alright. Aslong as it doesn't censor out slang like d.amn.. lol xx

that's not what i meant by spamming. those are game threads and i am perfectly ok with them. i just get upset when all someone puts in a post is: "lol" or "Ok! cool." or "awesome". i have also noticed that in a few threads many things have gotten horribly off topic and it would be nice if you (FantastiX members) could try to stay somewhat realtively on topic. just my thoughts. ignore me if you want, i don't really care anymore...

I would never ignore you! I think that makes a lot of sense seeing as those posts aren't really contributing to the forum in a constructive way! I don't think it really matters if people say things once or twice like that, or every so often!

I know what you mean, but sometimes if a thread goes off-topic, its not the end of the world. Of course, if someone was bothered about this, they could just try and spark a discussion on the topic in hand.

That's true. I don't really see a problem in going off the topic sometimes. It's just a part of things. To have regular conversations while playing a game or claiming a character. I mean if we all did exactly what the title said, then we wouldn't really be able to talk to each other at all! lol

Hey! I take offense to that! I am NOT boring. I just don't share most of the same interests of everyone here. And I am strict because life has forced me into situations where I had to mature much faster than those around me. I had no friends until the past 2 years and I had to learn to live on my own. I was never able to depend on others, which made me somewhat of a loner, so i guess i just don't relate to other people well. If that makes me strict, then so be it. That's true. I don't really see a problem in going off the topic sometimes. It's just a part of things. To have regular conversations while playing a game or claiming a character. I mean if we all did exactly what the title said, then we wouldn't really be able to talk to each other at all! lol I don't mind people going off-topic in the General Discussions. That is what it is there for. It just bothers me when people get extremely off-topic in topics specifically made for a certain purpose.

Well, as for being a loner and made to mature faster then some people. I figure that this a place where you really don't have to act your age. It's a place where people can get together and make friends. The most of this forum is teenagers, and as a fellow teen, I know that the majority of us like to talk. I think that we (as a forum) should be able to talk about other things in certain threads. If it bothers somebody, then they can ask the person(s) nicely if they could please get back on topic or if they would talk about it on a different thread. I know that we want everyone to feel comfortable here, and if you feel that this is a real problem then you can create a thread for random talking. Just remember that even if you make a thread for random talking, it doesn't mean that there won't be random talking in any other threads too. I hope that this won't become a big problem or a reason for a pointless debate. When all is done and said, it always comes down to this: Shadow~Dark is the admin. And with that title should come respect. I've been to many forums where the admin. doesn't really interact with any of the members. We need to abide by what he thinks is necessary for this forum, and deal with what he thinks is a problem. To S~D: You need to make sure that if you want to have the respect of everybody here, that you you take a interest in what is going on, and help solve things if there is a problem. You need to make sure that you care about everyone here. And just like with everyone else, if you have a problem with somebody, then you need to take it up with them. OUCH! That was long. Well, I guess if i said anything worthwhile in there then it was worth it. P.S. Don't be mad at me anybody.
